Why We Dance
Rhythmic movement is the basis of art, play and work. Dance feeds the soul, nourishes the body, challenges the mind, builds strength, stamina, speed, balance, agility, postural alignment and flexibility. Dance is the foundation for the correct execution of technical sports-specific movement. Skilled movement is a form of thinking.
We offer a variety of dance classes for all ages with the intent of meeting each student's needs. Nearly all of our classes give dancers the opportunity to perform in our annual Spring Recital in April. Rather than believing that dance training needs to start from a young age, we have beginning teen and adult classes to ensure that anyone can begin to practice dance.
Our studio at Coppertop Loop has two marley studios for a variety of dance styles and one hardwood studio for tap. We are within walking distance of Sakai Intermediate School and Woodward Middle School. We are a dog friendly studio.
